Norwest Strikers Hockey
The club has been in the Sydney competition since 2001. The club currently has managed five senior Mens teams playing the Sydney Hockey Competition.
During this time the club has provided a great pathway for junior players from the Hills District to participate depending on their level of competency.
During our existence we have proudly produced five Australian Kookaburras, as well as a number of Australian Junior Squad members and dozens of NSW representatives from under 18 through to Australian Hockey League.
Since 2001 the Norwest Strikers Men's Hockey Club has played in 7 Premier League 1 Grand Final and won three Premierships in the State’s top domestic Competition and has also wont hree in the lower grades where you can enjoy a more social game of hockey. The Club was Minor Premiers in Premier League 1 in 2022 and won Premier League 2 in 2023
As a club we have been crowned Club Champions of Sydney Hockey 3 times - these have been significant and proud achievements for the club.
We are a division of the powerful Bankstown - Baulkham Hills Sports Club organisation and as such receive support to assist with junior development and pathway into the senior ranks. Through this club we have links to junior and women’s divisions.
A number of our players have and continue to play in Europe during the Australian summer and we have strong links with clubs in the Netherlands, Ireland and England. This experience is translated back to younger players and helps keep the club at the top of the elite competition in Sydney.
